6 Days to the GMAT.

Sorry about the interruption to the storyline. But on the other hand, It’s been fun to have a reason to post these TShorts. As you can imagine, I’m in a rush to cram for this test. We’ll be back to the story soon. Soon meaning next week, some time.

Which brings up something. I’m so grateful for all y’all who keep coming back.  I’m also thankful for all those people out there who work so hard to help others. There has been so much support from everybody on this grad school thing, and it hasn’t even started yet.

So, while I’m madly studying for the GMAT, I find it incredibly difficult to get everything done that I wish to do, hence the extreme lack of color lately. Fear not, only about 14 days till I take the test.

Studying is Fun

So I was IM’ing with my friend in the land down under, and I’m totally freaked out by the fact that he is like 18 hours ahead of me.

At first I was jealous, cuz he gets to see tomorrow before I do. But then I realized, I get to do everything else before he does.

Think about it, if we were just talking on the phone, and we were to randomly discover some strange international conspiracy, and the government were to send an electric shock through the phone and kill us simultaneously, I would actually die almost a full day before he would.  If he died on a Wednesday, I would die on Tuesday.

Which means I would have discovered the conspiracy before him.

Truth IS stranger than fiction.

Oreos are Awesome.

I love them. They are great with milk. They are great double stuffed. But by far and away the best oreo combination is something that would make most shudder. The best is when combined with butter.

Butter Melted, how nice it greases, those oreos which are crushed to pieces. Take a scoop up in your hand, take a taste and life is grand. Freeze it for an ice cream pie crust, but wait too long and that crust might just….. be gone.

No really. If you haven’t had oreo pieces and butter, you are missing one of life’s most treasured treats. It is the crust for the Asphalt Pies at Wingers.

There is a reason why I’m fat, you can’t get a body like this without working for it.

Speaking of Oreos, I’m very mixed on the new resealable packages.

1. They don’t open all the way, so you have to jiggle the package around to get the last ones out.

2. Something about them always makes you think there is another oreo in there, but there never is. (Just throw it away when you eat the last one.)

3. The only purpose of being resealable(that I can think of) is to keep the dust out. It certainly doesn’t keep them from going stale. Not that they ever last that long. It’s not really that effective at keeping them in.

4. It is easy to open. This really carries a lot of weight. Which is why I’m mixed.

This calls for more product testing. I’ll get right on it.
