Hey guys, thanks for all the great comments and support. I missed the big 100 party, cuz I was deathly ill. I would elaborate, but I was expressly forbidden to do so by Dave. You wouldn’t want to hear it anyway, it was all about !%^%^&#%^ and #$!^#$&& and a huge amount of @!#$%. Ultimately, I wouldn’t want to waste your time telling you about how I ended up !@$!!$!@# on the #@$!@# for all of !@!@$!@$!  @#$#$@^&#&. It’s just not that interesting. Anyway, it’s 9 p.m. and I think I’m gonna go crawl in bed and pretend none of that stuff ever happened.

I thought I was the only one, but it turns out, I was so wrong.

For the longest time, I got Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, were the same person.

I used them interchangeably to direct movies, until I got so confused, that I really had no idea who directed what. It’s really annoying, and in my defense, they both have scratchy looking beards, and they are famous, and they occasionally direct movies to great acclaim.  I think this confusion dates all the way back to when I saw E.T. in the theater.

One day I confessed to this horrible sin of nerdism. Turns out, I’m not the only one, really, there are others. Others who are terribly confused, groping in a sea of who’s who. There is help, the first step is admitting there is a problem.

Now if I could only get past my terrible confusion of Teri Hatcher and Alyssa Milano.

So as long as we’re completely off of our normal topics, I have something else to add.

Today is the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing!  I’m so excited.  I’ve been listening to this broadcast all day.  The only unfortunate bit is that I’ll be in a meeting when the actual landing is re-broadcast.  Fortunately, I know how it ends.  To console myself, I’m going to watch the landing via my copy of the HBO mini-series ‘From the Earth to the Moon’.  In the mean time, I’ll stare at my poster of the moon landing I have behind my monitor at my desk, which I picked up at Kennedy Space Center.

Yes!  I’m a nerd!

It’s ok, though.  I’m a certified rocket nerd.
